The ZEPHYR MK2 GTX MID represents the next stage in the evolution of this legendary mission boot. Its combination of agility, lightness and stability makes it ideal for use in military or police special units or by regular personnel.
The MID-CUT upper provides the necessary support during fast roping and allows full freedom of movement during close combat. The upper is made from a combination of water-repellent, tear-resistant suede and abrasion-resistant, breathable Cordura material. An innovative locking hook allows the lacing to be individually adjusted in the forefoot and ankle area. The waterproof, highly breathable Gore-tex Extended Comfort footwear laminate is ideal for use in moderate or relatively wet environments.

This LOWA Zephyr MK2 model is a new era of footwear line of light and comfortable tactical boots. They won the trust of special forces operators, police officers, soldiers and paramedics all over the world.
The ZEPHYR MK2 GTX MID is certified as occupational footwear in accordance with EN ISO 20347:2012. It is anti-static and has a cold and heat-insulating sole complex. The outsole is not only anti-slip – it is also resistant to oil, petrol and contact heat.

MONOWRAP stability frame
Monowrap is a unique construction process in which the rubber is moulded into a polyurethane stability frame (or a TPU frame). The TPU frame is usually a layer of soft cushioning that is not connected with the rubber outsole in quite such a durable way, leading to a shorter life for a boot. Monowrap Frame Technology employs injection (either single or double injection) moulding, as it offers LOWA boots flexibility in the design of the TPU frame.
Lowa CROSS sole
Cross model of sole is Lowa's special profile design for good grip on various surfaces. It is suitable for both paved and unpaved areas and is a self-cleaning sole profile.
ISO 20347:2021 Standard
Footwear has ISO 20347:2021 Standard which specifies basic and additional (optional) requirements for occupational footwear that is not exposed to any mechanical risks (impact or compression). Special risks are covered by complementary job-related standards (e.g. footwear for firefighters, electrical insulating footwear, protection against chain saw injuries, protection against chemicals and against molten metal splash, protection for motor cycle riders).
ISO 20347:2012 standard
The ZEPHYR MK2 GTX is certified as an occupational shoe in accordance with EN ISO 20347:2012, is antistatic and has a cold and heat-insulating sole complex. The outsole is not only highly slip-resistant, but also resistant to oil, petrol and contact heat.

Prvi dan 5km za test, drugi dan 28km, 1400 višinskih, makadam, asvalt, sneg, skale... zadovoljen. Upogibanje kul, lahki čevli, čvrsti, pa dobr zaščitijo gležnje... Grabi me da kupim enake v črni barvi :)

Imam že visoke Zephyr čevflje, prav tako Ranger zelene, ker pa so bili tile v akciji in ravno moja številka, sem jih vzel na zalogo. Ta čevelj je preprosto dober, prevvsem pa je lahek in udoben...

Prvi dan 10km z 20 kg nahrbtnikom ..... brez težav.
Udobni, lahki in navkljub GoreTexu so precej zračni. Podplat primerno trden in stabilen, dober oprijem.
