The Reversible Swagman Roll combines the features of a blanket, sleeping bag, poncho, and lining. It includes the benefits of all these things but none of their weaknesses.
It is light and warm thanks to its filling with advanced Climashield Apex insulation with a weight of 67g/m2. To turn the Reversible Swagman Roll into a sleeping bag, zip up the edges. Also, it creates a set with our Poncho U.S. Model. Optionally, you can fasten the waist with buckles, and the material will be closer to the body, like an emergency jacket. Reversible Swagman Roll is perfect for camping, in the car, or as part of the equipment of the BOB escape backpack.
This version of our classic Swagman Roll poncho has an additional feature: it is double-sided, so you can better adapt your look to your surroundings.

In the past, trappers, soldiers, and swagmans (slang in Australia: hired traveling workers) warmed themselves with woolen rolled blankets. Over time, those blankets were replaced by synthetic lining, which, together with the poncho, served as rain insulation.

Equipped with a proprietary surface encapsulation technology, Climashield Apex offers excellent warmth, even when wet, without obstructing moisture transfer from the body.
WindPack Nylon material
Fabric woven from nylon. It is made with canvas weave and reinforced with ripstop grid. The material is treated with DWR waterproofing DuPont Teflon coating. Very breathable and moisture wicking. Ultralight, packable and windproof.
PenCott digital camouflage
PenCott GreenZone, Badlands, Sandstorm and Snowdrift are digital camouflages produced by the UK company Hyde Definition. Pattern elements achieve a three dimensional effect; the illusion of depth. Digital camo means non-curvy transitions between tones (squares and rectangular shapes). Camouflage is multi-fractal, meaning it carries a micro-pattern (close range), a macro-pattern (long range), and an innovative midi-pattern (middle range). This ensures that the PenCott continues to conceal the user whether he is few meters away or 400.

Great upgrade
I already owned the original Swagman Roll but when this thing was released, I just couldn't resist and got one.
It's not just that the inner lining was printed with camo, the whole layout was replicated to the inner part. The only way to tell the difference is that the outer part doesn't have the extra quilting to fix the shell to the filling. Everything else, pockets, drawstrings - even the logo patch is on both sides.
If you don't have a swagman roll yet, definitely get one. Wether as poncho liner, warming poncho, blanket, summer sleeping bag or other uses, this thing so multifunctional you will love it.
And the new camo options are just great, not only for collectors like me.
