Fast rope

Fast rope, also known as a military rappel rope or insertion/extraction rope, is a specialized rope used in tactical operations, particularly in military and special forces applications.

Fast rope is specifically designed for rapid deployment of personnel from helicopters or other aircraft onto the ground or onto the deck of a ship. It is typically made of durable, low-stretch material such as nylon or Kevlar to withstand the forces and abrasion encountered during fast roping operations.
