Great space to comfort ratio
Mostly I got this towel for the gym. It's mandatory to wrap a towel over the seat of every exercising device and since I'm always walking to the gym I want to keep the overall size of my gear as small as possible.
I tried several brands of microfiber towels and all are good. Some are smaller, almost to small to cover what they should but this one is generously wide but still small when stuffed into it's sack.
Recently I needed a towel when travelling, too. (I often stay overnight at a place where there are showers but no towels available) and this is when I discovered that the Helikon microfibre towel is not only generously wide, it's comfortable, too.
I like the pouch because it's a bit spacious so the towel can catch some air when inside. The ultra-tight stuffsacks other brands use safe extra space when putting it into your backpack but if the towel is not desert-dry it will start smelling more sooner than later. The Helikon one can't be dried in it's stuffsack but you can well carry it for a while before you reach a place where you can dry it easily without risking to get a big bunch of bad smell.
I like the "special feature", the short strap you can use to wrap it up without the stuffsack. That gives more options when you just want to throw it into your bag e.g. while going to the gym.
I know, many people don't like how microfibre towels feel on the skin and some think they can't be as good when it comes to drying wet skin and hair. But this one really feels more like fleece than regular microfibre and you can rely on it getting the job done.
