The Kelly Kettle company is located in the West of Ireland, where the Kelly Kettle has been an essential piece of camping equipment for Irish fishermen and angling guides/ghillies for generations.
Origin of the company can be traced back to the 1890's to a small farm on the shores of Lough Conn, County Mayo, Ireland, when a young Patrick Kelly (Great grand-father of the current Co. Directors), a small farmer and fisherman, developed his first kettle from tin after a cold winter of tinkering and experimenting in a shed.
Brothers Patrick & Seamus Kelly, the current directors of the company, are very proud to be the fourth generation of the Kelly family to be associated with their famous kettle and camping gear. Like the rest of their family, the brothers are extremely keen outdoor enthusiasts and are accomplished anglers.
Kelly Kettles can nowdays be found all over the world from the USA, Canada, UK, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Germany, Russia and as far away as Japan, South Africa, South Korea & Australia. Now considered an essential piece of camping equipment, Kelly Kettles are being used by all types of outdoor enthusiasts such as explorers, kayakers, hill walkers, car campers, scouts, hunters, gardeners, fun family picnics, at music festivals, or as a vital item in emergency preparedness & wilderness survival kits.
